- Tell us a little about yourself.I am a wife and full time working mother. My husband has and continues to struggled with mental illness and addiction, he is also a Marine Corps veteran. My son (4) is the light of my life and is the sweetest, kind hearted, sometime very stubborn little man! I work as a board certified behavior analyst working with autistic children. I love my job so much, helping families navigate autism and helping their children to learn.
- What effects has fertility awareness had on your relationship?Definitely has been a test. With my husbands struggles it has been hard for me to be open to bringing another child into the world, since I am the primary caregiver and breadwinner, so we have been trying to avoid until he is more stable.
- How did you find your instructor?Through a FB group, I was charged $100 (a one time fee)
- Describe your daily charting routine.I use the clear blue fertility monitor to track LH surges. I have charted for 3.5 years. Tracking does not affect my life, however it does at times affect my husband when he is in the mood and we can’t due to being within my fertility window.
- What made you choose this method?The 1st reason is I am catholic so hormonal birth control is not an option. The 2nd reason is that I am not of a natural mindset and do not want to put artificial hormones into my body. I really like the monitor tells me where my hormones are, it’s easy and convenient for me.
- Has charting helped you to understand your overall health?Yes, I have realized I become Very moody before I peak and also my face breaks out after I peak
